ALL PERFORMANCES ARE MANDATORY.
***If a student misses a mandatory performance for any reason, the singer will be required to write a lengthy essay on a musical subject of his/her choosing or topic determined by the instructor. An appropriate due date will be determined by the director. If the singer is in more than one choir, he/she may be required to write more than one essay. The student’s grade in the class may be affected when missing a mandatory performance even after completing the written assignment. The grade will be determined by the reason for the missed performance and how much advanced notice was given to the director.
ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES:
Honor Choir: Auditions in Hayward (Saturday, September 24th). See Mrs. Carreon for audition information. Open to all Liberty Singers to audition. Singers will be selected by audition for Regional Honor Choir and may be eligible for All State Honor Choir.
